- Contains accounts for clock making, cabinetmaking, carpentry, building and repairing mills, tool making, wood work, and metal work, as well as a watch repair register, giving the name of the owner, the name of the maker, and the number of the watch. Lists tools purchased. Also records agricultural activities on land adjacent to the Dominy house and shop. Name index of customers in the front of the volume. Nathaniel Dominy IV was the first member of the Dominy family to become engaged in woodworking and clockmaking. He was elected town supervisor in 1777 and served until 1779, and was also an overseer of the poor. Volume disbound and laminated. Two watermarks of Durham and Pro Patria found on many pages.
